Privacy Policy

This privacy policy informs you about how your personal data is collected, stored, processed and used by Optidev AB (“Optidev”) in its capacity as data controller, as well as your rights to be informed of such data and to correct, restrict or delete it.

Collection of Data

You may be asked to provide personal data anytime you are in contact with Optidev or are using Optidev’s website or applications. You are not required to provide such personal data, but if you chose not to do so, in many cases Optidev will not be able to provide you with its products or services.

Use of Your Personal Data

Optidev will use the data collected to:

  • create and administer your personal user account and enable you to enjoy the full range of services offered by Optidev;
  • confirm your identity in order to help Optidev prevent and detect fraudulent or otherwise wrongful use;
  • create, develop, operate, deliver and improve Optidev’s products and services;
  • ensure that the content from Optidev’s website or in Optidev’s applications is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your device;
  • test Optidev’s systems;
  • send you information that Optidev think you may find useful or which you have requested from Optidev, including information about Optidev’s applications and services, provided that you have consented to be contacted for these purposes; and
  • notify you about changes to Optidev’s products and services as well as changes to this privacy policy.

Optidev will treat all personal data received from or about you as confidential and process and use it only for the relevant purposes set out above.

Disclosure of Data

Whenever the use of third party service providers is necessary for the use or provision of Optidev’s products or services, Optidev’s contractual relationship with such third party service providers is regulated by relevant data protection legislation.

The third party service providers only have access to such of your personal data as is necessary to carry out your or Optidev’s instructions and are not permitted to use that data for any other purpose. Moreover, they are under an obligation to treat such data in accordance with this privacy policy and applicable data protection laws and are responsible for their use of the personal data in accordance therewith.

Optidev will not give your personal data to any third parties other than Optidev’s service providers or subcontractors, unless required or authorized to do so by law or administrative regulations, or unless you have expressly consented to such a disclosure.

Right to Obtain Information

You are entitled at all times to find out about your personal data which Optidev has stored, its origin and recipient as well as the purpose of the data processing. Right of Revocation and Right to Delete Your Personal Data

In accordance with applicable law, you have the right to correct, restrict or delete your personal data. You are entitled to revoke your authorization for us to process and use your data at any time, effective from the time of revocation. To do so, please send us a brief e-mail or mail indicating your physical address and e-mail address to info@optidev.se or to Nils Jakobsonsgatan 5 K, 504 30 Borås, Sweden, subject: “Data Protection”. Upon revocation of your permission or a request for deletion, Optidev will delete your personal data completely, except where applicable obligations require us to retain your data. In these cases, the further processing or use of your data will be suspended.

Please note that depending on the nature and scope of the data concerned, your revocation may impede the use of Optidev’s products and/or services.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Please note that Optidev may occasionally adjust this privacy policy as a consequence of adjustments or improvements of Optidev’s products or services, or changes to applicable requirements or applicable laws. Optidev will inform you about changes to this privacy policy before the changes become effective.
